BBQ Chicken Wings

Serve them as lunch, a snack, a main dish or an appetizer. People love chicken wings. Dress them up, dress them down. This recipe is fairly straightforward.


2 lbs chicken wings
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup diced double smoked bacon (seriously, try it)
2 cloves smashed garlic
1/2 tsp ground pepper


Marinate the wings over night with the rest of ingredients. Drain off the marinade. Toss wings in XVO and salt and pepper.
Pre-heat barbecue to 350 F. Cook wings 10 minutes, flip! Five more minutes, flip! Add your favourite sauce now if you wish or hold back and save it for dipping.
Cook five more minutes, same side.
Remove, plate and eat.
